Q: What is heyÜ and why should I use it?
A: heyÜ is a mobile application that connects you with your family and friends in fun ways! With heyÜ, you can make free & unlimited heyÜ to heyÜ calls and heyÜ to PLDT landline calls nationwide. You can also use heyÜ for calls to SMART, Talk ‘N Text, and Sun, plus international calls.

Q: Does heyÜ work on my phone?
A: heyÜ works on Android smartphones and Telpad units.
Q: Can I carry over my previous account information after I change my device?
A: Yes, your account information carries over from your previous device seamlessly. Just log in with your existing username and password on your new device.
Q: What should I do if I forgot my password?
A: You can opt to change your password here.
Q: Can I use more than 1 account for multiple devices?
A: Only one device may be logged in to the same account at any given time. If you log in using another device, you will be logged out from the previous device.
Q: How do I get started with heyÜ?
A: Click here to register. Once you get your confirmation details (username and password) via email, just download the heyÜ app from the Google Play Store. When you launch the app, just plug in the provided username and password sent via the confirmation email.
Q: Does it cost anything to use heyÜ?
A: Local calls (heyÜ to heyÜ, heyÜ to PLDT landlines) and other features (instant messaging and video calls) are completely free, apart for the Monthly Service Fee*. For voice calls outside the country, please refer to the rates indicated here.
*Users are allowed to register and get up to 5 heyÜ numbers per account. There is a P100 Monthly Service Fee per number used. Telpad subscribers get a Free Monthly Service Fee for the number registered on their Telpad.
Q: Can heyÜ make international calls?
A: Yes, you can make international calls. Refer to the different rates per country here.
Q: I am having trouble downloading heyÜ from Google Play Store.
A: Check your internet connection. Make sure that it is stable then reconnect to Google Play Store in order to download the app.
Q: How do I change my profile picture, name, or status?
A: It is currently not possible to change your own profile name, picture, or status. However, it’s possible to change the display name and picture of your contacts. Simply edit their names and photos on your phone’s phone book then tap on “Sync Contacts” in heyÜ settings
Q: How do I delete message or chats?
A: To delete messages or chats, go to the messages section and hold the item you want to delete. An option to “clear chat” or “delete conversation” will appear. ‘Clear chat’ will remove all your messages with that contact. ‘Delete conversation’ will delete the entire conversation
Q: How do I delete my heyÜ contact?
A: All your heyÜ contacts are automatically saved and assigned to your account. When you log on to different devices, you will still be able to access all those contacts. Because of this new safety feature, there is currently no way to remove a heyÜ contact.
Q: I’m getting a new Android phone, how do I move my chat history?
A: It is currently not possible to transfer your chat history from your previous heyÜ client to your new one. You will, however, be able to receive offline messages once you reconnect to your heyÜ client on your new device.
Q: I accidently deleted my chats. Can I get my messages back?
A: Once chat messages are deleted, they may no longer be retrieved.
