PLDT recently introduced a faster PLDT HOME Telpad. Previously available in Dual-Core, the refreshed Telpad is now powered by a Quad-Core processor. With the upgrade, the new Telpad now has twice the power to multitask and handle graphic-heavy apps and games than the previous Telpad model.

For those who are not familiar with the device, PLDT Telpad is a landline phone and an Android tablet combo. Aside from calls, the Telpad offers added features such as Internet browsing, multimedia, games and a lot more via its tablet. The Quad Core Telpad (tablet) has a 7-inch IPS display with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. It has a 3.0 MP camera, Bluetooth, GPS and an MHL to HDMI interface that allows you to connect the device to HDTVs. The tablet is powered by a Cortex A9 Quad Core processor and a 4100 mAh battery.
