What are the new Home Biz Fiber Plans and their inclusions?

Home Biz is launching its new and improved Fiber Plans starting this January 6th. The new Plans and their inclusions will be as follows:

Where can I avail the new Home Biz Fiber Plans?

Home Biz Plans are available in all existing PLDT Channels: PLDT Field Sales and Key Account Partners, PLDT Stores, and PLDT On-Line Store.

What are the requirements for applying to the new Home Biz Fiber Plans?

Home Biz approved credit parameters are as follows (see Credit advisory for full details):

Standard Documentary-requirements:

  • Fully accomplished Home Biz Customer Application Form (CAF)
  • Proof of Identity (POID) – one valid government-issued ID of the business owner
  • Any of the following Proof of Business (POB) documents:
    • Business/Mayor's Permit (for the current year)
    • BIR Permit
    • Barangay Permit
    • Proof of Address/Billing

Alternative POB Documents:

  • For Home-based Business:
    • Barangay Business Clearance which should specify the business name and the name of the business owner who is also the Home Biz Plan subscriber/applicant. A business name that states only the name of the owner/subscriber is not acceptable.
    • Photo of the home-based business establishment/set-up.
    • The business name to be reflected in the CAF and in CSP should be the business name of the applicant.
  • For Professionals practicing their professions at home (e.g. Doctors, Architects, Interior Designers, Nutritionists, Psychologists, Real Estate Broker, Veterinarian etc.):
    • PRC License/ID under the name of the subscriber. (must be a clear copy of the front and back portion of the PRC ID)
    • The business name to be reflected in the CAF and in CSP should be the individual name of the subscriber/applicant.
  • For Freelancers (e.g. Web designers, Social Media, CAD operators, Transcribers, Tutors, etc.):
    • Copy of the contract, MOA and Term sheet between the freelancer and the contractor/employer/service platforms. (e.g. UpWork, Odesk, Freelancer.com, etc.)
    • The SOR's name to be reflected on the application form and in the System will be under individual name.
    • The business name to be reflected in the CAF and in CSP should be the individual name of the subscriber/applicant.
  • For e-Commerce Businesses:
    • Screenshot of the e-Commerce business profile, website or webpage. (e.g. Facebook for business, Tiktok for business, Shopee, Lazada, etc.)
    • Or a copy of the Contract, MOA, Accreditation, etc. between the business or merchant with the e-Commerce platform or marketplace. (e.g. Tiktok, Shopee, Lazada, Grab, Food Panda, Sulit, etc.)
    • The business name to be reflected in the CAF and in CSP should be the business name of the applicant.

How can I use Business Consultation to make my business more successful?

Our Home Biz Consultant (s) are industry leaders with many years of entrepreneurial experience and know-how that you can tap and engage for you business concerns or aspirations.

I am an existing Home Biz customer, can I request for an upgrade or downgrade to the new Home Biz Fiber Plan?

A Upgrade is recommended or encouraged. Downgrade is not allowed if within contract. Existing PLDT Upgrade and Downgrade riles apply (especially PTF).

I'm an existing subscriber, will my lock-in be refreshed if I upgrade or downgrade to any of the new Home Biz Fiber Plan?

Re-contracting via Plan upgrade (or downgrade) will be a new 36 months lock-in to the new plan.

I am an existing Home Biz customer, will I be allowed to downgrade to a residential plan?

Existing PLDT downgrade rules/policies apply.

Given that we now have similar MSF for both residential and business plans, am I eligible to enroll my account in the PLDT Home Rewards Program?

PLDT Rewards for Home Biz is coming soon (TBA).

Will using the same MSF for both residential and business plans affect the quality of service I receive as a Home Biz customer?

No. There is the same quality of service for broadband connectivity between PLDT Home residential and Home Biz Plans or subscriptions.

If I apply to the new Home Biz Fiber Plan, will I receive the same level of customer support as residential customers?

Yes. There is the same quality of service for PLDT after-sales between PLDT Home residential and Home Biz Plans or subscriptions.
