ABOUT SERVICE

PLDT Home Prepaid WiFi is PLDT Home’s first and only pay-per-use wireless internet service for the home.

  • It’s prepaid so you don’t have to pay any monthly bills! You pay only for what you will use, when you will use it. Best of all, loads are available for as low as P15 for 1GB!

  • It’s a plug and play service so no installation needed!
  • It’s perfect for family sharing as it connects up to 5 devices.

GETTING STARTED

You will find the following inside your Home WiFi Prepaid kit:

  1. PLDT Home WiFi Modem
  2. Ethernet/LAN Cable (RJ45) — the data cable which you may use to connect your device to a desktop or laptop
  3. AC Power Adapter — this is the power supply of the device
  4. Home WiFi Device Quick Start Guide — Your guide in setting up your Home WiFi service

 

USING THE SERVICE

Up to 5 devices can connect to the modem at the same time. Your surfing and streaming experience will depend on the number of devices connected simultaneously to the modem.

No, the SIM which is included in your PLDT Home Prepaid WiFi kit is the only SIM compatible to your device. Please note that tampering with the SIM slot will void service warranty.

It is recommended you use the service only in your area of residence.

You can buy regular load or any of the following Home Boost loads thru any PLDT Store or PLDT Smart loading station. Be ready to give your Home WiFi number.

If you purchase regular load, you will need to convert this to any of the above Home Boost Loads. You may do so via pldthome.com/homewifiload

 

Go to pldthome.com/homewifiload and click the Click "here" to view your current balance link on the PLDT Home Wifi Dashboard to see how much of your load you have already consumed. Don't forget to bookmark it in your browser.

Once you have fully consumed your Home Boost load, you will automatically be disconnected from the internet even if you have remaining regular load. You have two options:

  • Convert your regular load to any Home Boost load
  • Buy Home Boost load thru any PLDT Store or PLDT Smart loading station

 

Just visit the Home WiFi dashboard to see how much of your load you have already consumed. Don’t forget to bookmark it in your browser.

AFTER SALES CONCERNS

You may check the quality of the signal that your modem is getting thru the device’s signal indicators, found at the front of the modem:

  • Blue Light — Best Signal
  • Green Light — Good Signal
  • Red Light — Bad Signal
  • Blinking Red Light — No SIM/Signal

 

Your SIM is covered by a 7-day replacement warranty in any PLDT store. Beyond 7 days, your SIM can be replaced for a fee of P50.

Just be ready with your PLDT Home Prepaid WiFi number and the Official Receipt/Acknowledgement receipt issued to you when you purchased the device

Your Home WiFi modem is covered by a 7-day replacement warranty in any PLDT Store. Beyond 7 days, concerns on your modem can be addressed thru any Memo Express service center. A 1 year service warranty applies – 1 year period will start upon date of modem purchase.

Just be ready with your PLDT Home Prepaid WiFi number, the Official Receipt/Acknowledgement receipt issued to you when you purchased the device and your warranty card

We do not accommodate refund requests. We can only replace your modem, if recommended by our agents after they conduct the necessary troubleshooting.
