MODEM AND SIM CONCERNS

  1. Turn on your PLDT Home Wifi Modem. Hintaying maging green ang ilaw ng power indicator na makikita sa harap ng modem.
  2. Kung hindi ito naging green, check the AC power adapter at ang pagkaka-plug nito sa modem at power supply.
  3. Kung nakailaw ang indicator pero hindi pa rin gumagana ang modem, tumawag sa 171. Ihanda ang inyong PLDT Home Prepaid Wifi number, official receipt/acknowledgement receipt, at warranty card.
  1. Log-on to your Home WiFi network, open a browser and type in http://192.169.1.1 or White modem – https://www.pldthomewifisettings.net / Black modem – http://pldthomewifisettings.net to access your modem's dashboard.
  2. If you get a log-in error, perform factory reset on your modem.
  3. If the problem continues even after performing the factory reset by pressing the reset button on the right side of your modem for at least 5 seconds, please call 171 for assistance. Before you make the call, be ready with the following:
    • Home Prepaid WiFi number
    • Official Receipt or Acknowledgement receipt issued to you when you purchased the device
    • Warranty card
  1. Log-on to your Home WiFi network, open a browser and type in http://192.169.1.1 or White modem – https://www.pldthomewifisettings.net / Black modem – http://pldthomewifisettings.net to access your modem's dashboard.
  2. Once you’re logged in, you will get a prompt to change your modem dashboard’s password.
  3. After changing your dashboard’s password, you can now move on to changing your Home WiFi’s network name and password. In order to do this, go to the Settings tab and click on WiFi Settings.
  4. If you're still unable to do change network name and password, perform factory reset on your modem.
  5. If the problem continues even after performing the factory reset by pressing the reset button on the right side of your modem for at least 5 seconds, please call 171 for assistance. Before you make the call, be ready with the following:
    • Home Prepaid WiFi number
    • Official Receipt or Acknowledgement receipt issued to you when you purchased the device
    • Warranty card
  1. Make sure you are logged on to your Home WiFi network when accessing your balance inquiry dashboard.
  2. Once logged on to your Home WiFi network, open any browser and type in www.pldthome.com/homewifiload to access your modem's dashboard.
  3. If the problem persists, close all open and running programs and clear your browser's cache.
  4. If the problem continues even after performing the factory reset by pressing the reset button on the right side of your modem for at least 5 seconds, please call 171 for assistance. Before you make the call, be ready with the following:
    • Home Prepaid WiFi number
    • Official Receipt or Acknowledgement receipt issued to you when you purchased the device
    • Warranty card
  1. First, try performing factory reset on your modem.
  2. If the problem continues even after performing the factory reset by pressing the reset button on the right side of your modem for at least 5 seconds, please call 171 for assistance. Before you make the call, be ready with the following:
    • Home Prepaid WiFi number
    • Official Receipt or Acknowledgement receipt issued to you when you purchased the device
    • Warranty card

SERVICE CONCERNS

  1. Check the quality of the signal that your modem is receiving by looking at the modem's signal indicators found at the front of the modem:
  2. To ensure better signal, place your modem near a window. You will know that the modem is getting a better signal when the signal indicator turns green or blue.
  3. If the problem continues even after performing the factory reset, please call 171 for assistance. Before you make the call, be ready with the following:
    • Home Prepaid WiFi number
    • Official Receipt or Acknowledgement receipt issued to you when you purchased the device

LOAD CONCERNS

  1. When you power up your device for the first time, make sure to check to check your balance. To check your balance, log on to your Home WiFi network, open any browser and go to: White modem – https://www.pldthomewifisettings.net / Black modem – http://pldthomewifisettings.net
  2. If your balance does not reflect the FREE 10GB, please call 171 for assistance. Before you make the call, be ready with the following:
    • Home Prepaid WiFi number
    • Official Receipt or Acknowledgement receipt issued to you when you purchased the device
    • Warranty card
  3. Connect to PLDT Home Prepaid Wifi.
  4. Visit the dashboard to check free 10GB. Go to www.pldthome.com/homewifiload.
  1. Check your balance to make sure the FAMLOAD you bought has been credited to your Home WiFi account. To do this, log on to your Home WiFi network, open any browser and then type in pldthome.com/homewifiload.
  2. You must also ensure that you have availed any of the FAMLOAD packages. Without this, you will not be able to browse using regular load or any other non-FAMLOAD load packages. If you have availed regular load, you may convert this to a FamLoad load package thru pldthome.com/homewifiload.
  3. If you still can’t surf the internet even after you have verified that you have a valid FAMLOAD package with remaining balance, restart your modem.
  4. If the problem continues even after performing the factory reset, please call 171 for assistance. Before you make the call, be ready with the following:
    • Home Prepaid WiFi number
    • Official Receipt or Acknowledgement receipt issued to you when you purchased the device
    • Warranty card
  • Please note that FamLoad 15 is an add-on to our regular FAMLOAD packages. To avail of the FamLoad, you must first have a bought any of the FAMLOAD packages and that you still have a remaining balance.
