PLDT Home with HBO GO invites top female influencers for a one-of-kind experience inspired by the latest season of ‘And Just Like That...’

In a special New York City-inspired experience in Manila presented by PLDT Home and HBO GO, beauty queens and pillars of Philippine fashion got together to celebrate the much-anticipated second season of And Just Like That… (AJLT).
AJLT follows returning characters Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda Hobbs (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) as they navigate life since the spin-off film Sex and the City 2. As Sex and the City (SATC) celebrates 25 years, the Max Original series focuses on the key characters rediscovering what it means to be empowered women in a different time.
The event on July 6 featured a tour of the AJLT pop-up at One Bonifacio Park in BGC, Taguig City. The night ended with a quiz show and a fashion walk in theme with the show’s characters including the ever-charming NYC as a major backdrop of the series.
Inspired by the AJLT characters, the women who attended the exclusive event included beauty queens: Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados, Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Gomez, Miss Globe Philippines 2021 Maureen Montagne, Miss Universe Philippines 2020 runner-up Billie Hakenson, and Miss Universe Philippines 2022 runner-up Kat Llegado; and veteran fashion icons Tweetie de Leon-Gonzalez, Apples Aberin, and Myrza Sison.
(L-R) From Manhattan to Manila: Beatrice Luigi Gomez, Pau Fajardo, Kyla Zuñiga - Salas, Tweetie de leon, Myrza Sizon, Apples Aberin, Kat Llegado, Maureen Montagne, Billie Hakenson, and host Janeena Chan getting a taste of NYC in BGC in the And Just Like That… experience made put together possible by PLDT Home and HBO GO.
A taste of NYC in BGC
The AJLT installation featured iconic locations on AJLT and SATC, such as Carrie Bradshaw’s brownstone apartment stoop, NYC’s famous green street signs, a red carpet evoking a New York Fashion Week scene, and the pop-up hub serving cocktails to further adding to the cosmopolitan vibe.
That afternoon, however, PLDT Home spiced things up especially for the top female influencers in attendance.
The ladies enjoyed a momentary “getaway,” starting with the stylized AJLT logo to welcome everyone to the experience. They then proceeded to the replica of Carrie’s apartment stoop to find PLDT Home ambassadors acting out a typical day in the Big Apple. The guests enjoyed coffee and bagels a la NYC-style breakfast, as PLDT Home’s very own street violinist entertained in the background. The guests also had their red carpet moment at the AJLT backdrop.
To end the night, the fashionistas then gathered at the AJLT pop-up in collaboration with Zalora Philippines where they participated in a pop quiz and a catwalk inspired by the series.
