For those who want to include some buddies for some old fashion ghost-busting, Phasmophobia is your best bet. I personally enjoy this game because it can still scare the pants off of you even when you’re with your buddies. Imagine laughing so hard one minute and the next minute you’re screaming at the top of your lungs as a ghost chases you throughout the house.
Phasmophobia supports VR, which means you get to experience horror like never before. (Be careful if it carries over in your dreams—you’ve been warned!)

Let’s end this list with a game that has scared me—Slender: The Arrival. Just knowing that Slender Man can pop up at any moment just leaves you on your toes throughout the whole game. This remake provides better graphics and a story that the player can follow through, so you aren’t dealing with just Slender, but his female apprentice as well. This game was released in 2013, but can still provide you and your friends with a good scare.
Are you brave enough to spend Halloween with these games?
