The Intelligence quotient, better known as IQ, is a standardized assessment that measures an individual's cognitive abilities for things such as logic, spatial reasoning, and problem-solving. Research states that the average score ranges around 100, while people like Albert Einstein, Leonardo da Vinci, and Marilyn Vos Savant, who scored above 140, are counted as “geniuses.”

Solving the unsolvable gives a different sensation of happiness!

If you want to feel like you’re on top of the world and can solve anything thrown at you, you may want to stick around for our list of games that can help you with that!

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles

First on this list is Capcom’s The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. This is a visual novel adventure game that places players in courtroom-style gameplay. Alongside a well-developed storyline, players act as defense attorneys who investigate and defend clients. Discover a thrilling take on what it feels like to call an objection in defense of your client against all the odds as you investigate and cross-examine key witnesses in action-packed numeral sequences.

Professor Layton

It’s time to get dignified with Level-5’s Professor Layton. This is a puzzle adventure game, unlike the action-packed investigative games in this list. And unlike the others, several game types are under this title, such as the main game, a mobile spin-off, and even an animated film.

The game integrated puzzles into its adventure-sequenced storyline allowing players to take control of the Professor, his apprentice Luke Triton, and other characters as they explore the environment in a series of clicks to indicate location. Solving puzzles is required in order to progress; however, some features allow a smoother game progression.

Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments

Perhaps one of the more prominent names in terms of investigative prowess, you can now fill in the shoes of fiction’s greatest detective ever!

Developed by Frogwares way back in 2014, Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments is an RPG that places gamers into the shoes of Sherlock Holmes. Most of the game involves solving distinguished crimes, their bloody clues, and finally solving them through a “deduction board,” a mechanic that involves linking pieces of the clues. The awesome thing about it is that players have the freedom to interpret these clues that can conclude in different ways.

5-head your way through this series and solve it like it is elementary!

Disco Elysium

Moving from one RPG to another, Disco Elysium is an open-world RPG that takes place in a fictional setting recovering from a siege. Combat is not heavy in this game, and most of the interactions players will have is a series of events, skill checks, and dialogue trees that flesh out game immersion. Like Holmes, the player will be a detective who suffers from drug-induced amnesia and alcohol abuse. You also gain a fellow detective named Kim Kitsura, a more professional counterpart of your character.

And just like all these intelligence-heavy characters, you, too, have access to a medium that contains information about the world—the Internet. If you want to access information faster to get the results you need, you need PLDT Home’s fiber-fast Internet connection to continue absorbing all the necessary information you need.
