Grand Theft Auto, better known as GTA, has echoed throughout the gaming side of life, leaving an impression on young and old gamers alike. Whether you started out in San Andreas, Vice City, or the most recent Los Santos, despite it being 10 years old now, the blood of this exciting franchise boils within us, ready to burst for a new release. And we finally got confirmation—hallelujah.
Rockstar finally told us that the game will be released, even providing a sneak preview. GTA has become almost
synonymous with open-world exploration, and people have been playing the game as their daily go-to despite its age.
Today, we will spare some extra time to unravel what GTA VI has in store using the information released online, but
if you haven’t checked it out yet, click the link below to see for yourself.
Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 1
Initial thoughts. It may be just me, but that trailer was full of real-life
instances. Almost meme-ifying the absurdity of how life actually is, and that is amazing as it
takes “reality” in its own format. This means we can expect some crazy stuff to happen in the
game's storyline.
So, what did we get from the trailer?
In a very hype manner, the trailer revealed that the setting will be in Vice City in the state of Leonida,
GTA’s version of Miami and Florida. In terms of period, you can expect it to be dated close to our current
time as compared to the previous iteration of Vice City, which was around the 1980’s.

As for how characters go, the trailer revealed that we will be getting a female and male lead–some sort of
dynamic duo type of structure. This will be the first time the franchise features a female lead with an
“interesting” background that trudges between the life above and the dark side of crime. For the male
counterpart, we do not have much information about him yet, but we do expect him to be one of the playable
characters like the iconic ones we had in GTA V.
Where and when? Rockstar has confirmed that GTA VI will be released in 2025, with no specific month.
As announced in a press release from Take Two,
the game will be coming to the latest PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles, making it a new-gen exclusive
game.

How about on PC? Your guess is as good as mine, but I hope it will also be made available for us PC peeps. But, based
on previous releases, it may come to consoles first and then be made available on PC but at a much later date. We
just have to wait for more information.
