You’d think that with all the accolades these shows have been getting from critics and award ceremonies, they’d be on top of your binge list by now. But oh no. Sometimes, these TV series and shows get presumably buried in your long record of what TV shows and series you’d be streaming.
Here is a look at these TV titles you wouldn’t think of streaming but would end up liking, available on both HBO Go and Lionsgate Play.
Succession (HBO Go)

Succession had a strong start to its first season. Created by Jesse Armstrong, the story follows the turbulent relationships of a dysfunctional family in command of Waystar RoyCo, one of the world's most prosperous and significant media companies. The four Roy children fight to maintain control of the business as their personalities clash and the allure of power divides them during their father's stroke in the first season.
Why you’d end up liking it: Succession is the best TV show because it comprehends not only the trauma of abuse but also the fact that our brains are hard-wired to look to our parents for that comfort and are so often accepting of what they give, no matter the form it takes and no matter how much we wish it were something else. The White Lotus (HBO Go)

A star-studded ensemble travels to a resort to indulge in its most opulent inclinations. The show is a biting social satire that follows the antics of various resort visitors and staff members whose varied dysfunctions impact their ability to enjoy their vacation at the fictional White Lotus brand of hotels. As tourists unwind and recover in paradise, a week in their lives unravels. With each passing day, a deeper depth manifests in these picture-perfect visitors, the hotel's jovial staff, and the gorgeous setting itself.
Why you’d end up liking it: The show does a great job of depicting how social structure really is. The show's premise is also straightforward: three different groups of affluent guests come to a Hawaiian resort named The White Lotus. Part social satire, part mystery, the show is so captivating that you effortlessly get caught in the world of the "rich." Stream The White Lotus on HBO Go with PLDT Home!
Normal People (Lionsgate Play)

This series, adapted from the same-titled book and screenplay, touched on a number of important subjects, including class differentiation in families between the two main characters and their painfully beautiful and intensely bonded friendship. It also dealt with their involvement in sexual relationships with one another and with other people, and finally, how difficult it was for the female protagonist, Marianne, to fit in.
Why you’d end up linking it: There is a relatability to the feelings evoked in Normal People, even if you have never gone through their same dynamic. Their quiet movements, soft touches, and whispered exchanges reverberate off the surrounding walls. Stream Normal People on Lionsgate Play with PLDT Home!
Quantum Leap (HBO Go)

A follow-up to the 1989 TV series Quantum Leap, which told the tale of physicist Dr. Sam Beckett, a scientist who got stuck in time due to a botched government time travel experiment carried out by the military. He was forced to jump between people's bodies to solve their problems in the hopes of getting home. Thirty years have passed since Dr. Sam Beckett entered the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished without a trace. Dr. Ben Song, portrayed by Raymond Lee, has the duty of directing a new team to unravel the riddles surrounding the first experiment and the now-missing scientist Dr. Sam Beckett.
Why you’d end up liking it: Characters in the new Quantum Leap have the opportunity to change and become more flawed. Nothing is foreseeable beyond this show, including the plot arcs. Stream Quantum Leap on HBO Go with PLDT Home!
