PLDT Inc. (“PLDT”, “We”, “Us”) respects your fundamental right to privacy, and we commit to take great care in safeguarding your personal data. In compliance with the Data Privacy Act, we share with you the principles that govern how your personal data will be collected, processed, and shared as you participate in the 2025 PLDT Home OMG Raffle Promo (the “Promo”).
The Promo gives you a chance to win free Internet, cash prizes, or a 2025 Toyota Fortuner when you successfully subscribe to a PLDT Home Fiber Plan 1399 and up.
Why we collect and process your personal data
When you subscribe to any of the participating PLDT Home Fiber Plans, you will automatically qualify for the Promo. We will therefore process some of the personal data that you have submitted through your application, such as your name, e-mail address, mobile number, residential address, and PLDT Home account number to:
- Generate your raffle entry. You will be assigned a raffle number that will serve as your raffle entry during the raffle draw; and
- Notify you in case you win. You will be notified through an SMS, e-mail, and call-out to your registered mobile number and e-mail address if you win any of the prizes in the raffle draw.
If you win a 2025 Toyota Fortuner, you will need to submit additional personal data and documents through PLDT Home such as (a) two valid IDs, (b) the SMS notification from PLDT Home, and (c) your latest PLDT billing statement so that we may process the ownership transfer of the vehicle. We will, in turn, submit this data on your behalf to Toyota Philippines Inc., who will be responsible for arranging the pick-up of your prize.
Only the Subscriber-on-Record (SOR) of the PLDT Home Fiber Plan will be eligible to claim a prize.
The names of all winners will be posted publicly on PLDT Home’s social media pages and on our website.

Why your personal data is shared
When your personal data is shared, we ensure that it is done on a confidential basis, through secure channels, and in compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.
If you are a raffle draw winner, your personal data will be disclosed to:
- (1) The Department of Trade and Industry (“DTI”), in compliance with The Consumer Act of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 7394). Your personal data is disclosed to DTI as part of its function to safeguard your consumer rights. As the executive department of the Philippine Government that oversees the implementation of trade and consumer protection laws, the DTI is tasked to oversee the handling of sales promotions such as this Promo.
- (2) Toyota Philippines Inc. (“Toyota”), so that they may arrange the awarding of the 2025 Toyota Fortuner. Toyota processes your personal data in accordance with its own terms and privacy policy. For information, please visit https://toyota.com.ph/.
How your personal data is protected by PLDT
The integrity, confidentiality, and security of your personal data is important to us. This is why we strictly enforce this Privacy Notice within PLDT and have implemented technical, organizational, and physical security measures that are designed to protect your information from unauthorized or fraudulent access, alteration, disclosure, misuse, and other unlawful activities. Your personal data is also protected from other natural and human dangers.
Personal data relating to your participation in the Promo will be retained 90 days from the date of the DTI officiated raffle draw.
Your Rights and Choices
The Data Privacy Act gives you certain rights to your personal data. Subject to exceptions under the law, you are entitled to request:
- Access to the personal data we process about you;
- Rectification of your personal data if it is found to be outdated, inaccurate, or incomplete;
- Erasure when it is no longer needed to achieve the legitimate purpose of its processing;
- Restriction of processing of your personal data in limited circumstances;
- Portability of your personal data so that you may receive a copy thereof or that we transmit the same to another company on your behalf.
You moreover have a right to object to the processing of your personal data, such as in cases when we process your personal data based on our legitimate interests or for purposes requiring your consent.
To the extent that the processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw such consent at any time by contacting our Data Privacy Officer through the contact details provided below. Please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing that was carried out before you withdrew your consent or PLDT’s right to continue parts of the processing based on other legal bases than your consent. If, however, we have not provided you with another legal basis justifying the processing of your personal data in this privacy statement, we will stop the processing and delete your personal data.
To exercise any of these rights, you may get in touch with our Data Privacy Officer through the contact details indicated below. In some instances, we may request supporting documents or proof before we effect any requested changes to your personal data.
If, despite our commitment and efforts to protect your personal data, you believe that your data privacy rights have been violated, we encourage you to come to PLDT first so that we can work together to resolve your complaint. You have the right at all times to register a complaint directly with the National Privacy Commission (“NPC”) or to make a claim against us with a competent court (either in the country where you live, the country where you work or the country where you deem that data privacy law has been infringed).
