Why did PLDT stop selling PLDT Landline Plus Prepaid?

There have been no new activations for PLP Prepaid since 2020. PLDT Home will focus on providing the best service for the existing PLDT Landline Plus Prepaid and Postpaid base.

As an alternative, you may subscribe to PLDT Landline Plus postpaid. With PLP Postpaid, you will enjoy unlimited local calls within your home zone or area of subscription for a monthly fee of only P600/mo.

To subscribe to PLP Postpaid, we will need the following:

  • Signed Customer Information Sheet
  • Valid ID
  • Proof of Billing
  • Financial Documents (for NDD/IDD Access)

Kindly note that there’s an Activation Fee of P100, which will be charged to your first billing.

The Call and SMS Rates for PLP Prepaid and Postpaid are the same:

Where can I purchase a PLDT Landline Plus Prepaid SIM?

We are no longer selling PLDT Landline Plus Prepaid SIM cards. As an alternative, you may subscribe to a PLDT Landline Plus Postpaid service instead. (see PLP Postpaid details under Question #1)

3. I saw PLDT Landline Plus Prepaid SIM cards being sold on Lazada/in a telco tiangge near my area, are these legit and can I purchase them?

We discourage you from buying the PLP Prepaid SIM cards being sold in these places. Since we have stopped selling the service, the remaining SIM cards have been deactivated and will no longer allow you to enjoy the PLP service.

I’m an existing PLDT Landline Plus Prepaid subscriber. Will I also lose my service?

We have only stopped selling PLP Prepaid to new subscribers. As an existing PLP Prepaid subscriber, you will continue to enjoy the service as well as the existing subscription plans/offers available. There will be no changes to the service you have been enjoying.

My existing PLDT Landline Plus Prepaid SIM card is lost/defective. How do I get a replacement?

We no longer offer replacement PLP Prepaid SIM Cards. To continue enjoying the Landline Plus service, you may subscribe to a PLP Postpaid plan instead. (see PLP Postpaid details under Question #1)
