Why your personal data is collected and processed
To make an appointment through the Booking Website, you will need to provide your Full Name and Email Address so that we may process your appointment and send you calendar reminders via email. At your choice, you may also provide the following additional information:
- Your Telephone Number or Account Number (in case you are booking an appointment for an After-Sales concern);
- An alternative Contact Number (where we may contact you solely for concerns regarding your appointment); and
- Details about your request.
You have the option of setting either a virtual or in-store appointment. We wish to inform you that if you choose a virtual appointment, the appointment will be conducted via video call using Microsoft Teams. All virtual appointments via video call will be recorded so that we may monitor the quality of our service and interaction with you, and for audit purposes. Please ensure to turn-off your video before joining the video call. If you are not comfortable with the recording of virtual appointments, please book an in-store appointment instead.
All personal data we collect from you, including recordings of virtual appointments, shall only be stored for a maximum period of three (3) months from the date of your appointment.
Why your personal data is shared
We have engaged the services of Microsoft Corporation (“Microsoft”) for the use of the Microsoft 365 “Teams” application. This means that your personal data, including the recordings of your virtual appointments, are hosted on Microsoft’s cloud services. Microsoft may process your personal data only for this purpose.
How your personal data is protected
The integrity, confidentiality, and security of your personal data is important to us. This is why we strictly enforce this Privacy Notice and have implemented technical, organizational, and physical security measures that are designed to protect your information from unauthorized or fraudulent access, alteration, disclosure, misuse, and other unlawful activities. Your personal data is also protected from other natural and human dangers.

- Portability of your personal data so that you may receive a copy thereof or that we transmit the same to another company on your behalf.
Depending on the circumstances, such as when we process your personal data based on your consent, you may also have the right to object to the processing thereof. If you believe that your data privacy rights have been violated as you use the Booking Website and participate in virtual appointments, we encourage you to contact PLDT’s Data Privacy Officer to seek resolution of your complaint.
