Option 1: Via smart.com.ph/simreg
Go to smart.com.ph/simreg Enter SIM number. Click Send OTP.
Go to https://192.168.11, select Advanced then Proceed to 192.168.1.1 Enter your username: smartbro and password: smartbro, then click Sign in. * For PLDT Home WiFi customers, the default username and password is pldthome.
Choose SMS tab, then Device Inbox to see OTP.
Enter OTP, then click Verify. Fill out the Customer Information page, provide valid ID, selfie then click OK. Check the boxes and click Next.
Wait for the confirmation. Take a screenshot of the confirmation page and confirmation SMS. Receiving these means that your PLDT Home or Smart Bro Home WiFi is already registered.
Option 2: Via Giga Life App
Sign into your Giga Life App. Once signed in, select "Register" at the top of the screen.
The mobile number is prefilled and cannot be changed.
Check that you are connected to your PLDT Home WiFi.
Update your secondary mobile number. The secondary mobile number can also be a non-Smart mobile number.
Input the OTP to validate the secondary number.
Fill out the necessary details to proceed with SIM Registration.
As a Postpaid Subscriber, your SIM has automatically been registered.
Please check the SMS sent to your Device Dashboard Inbox to know if additional information is needed to complete your registration. Simply follow the steps below to access your Device Dashboard:
Connect to your PLDT Home WiFi. Then go to https://192.168.1.1 and input your device Username and Password.
Click on the SMS tab.
Click on the SMS to open the message.
Check the SMS Notifications to know if additional information is needed to complete your registration.
If additional information is required, please proceed to the steps below:
Go to pldthome.info/simreg.
Enter your Home WiFi MIN and accept Terms and Conditions.
Check your Device Dashboard Inbox for the OTP.
Enter the OTP sent into your inbox.
Input all required information and upload a copy of your valid ID.
Review the summary of details and accept Terms and Conditions.
Congratulations! You have successfully completed your SIM registration.
Make sure your SIM is inserted into a mobile phone so that you can receive SIM Registration SMS Notifications. Then go to pldthome.info/simreg.
Enter your PLP Prepaid Landline Number: 1 to 2 digit area code + 7 to 8 digit PLP Landline Number (No need to put zero “0” before the area code)
Enter the OTP sent to the inputted Landline Number
You will receive confirmation on your successful SIM Registration. Please make sure to note your Control Number.
PLDT Landline Plus Postpaid and Call All subscribers are considered registered. The information you provided upon application to PLDT shall be used for your SIM Registration. You will receive an SMS from PLDT should additional information be required to complete your registration. Should you wish to opt out of automatic registration or if you want your number to be excluded from the SIM Registration database, you may call 171.
Republic Act 11934 or the “SIM Registration Act” mandates all subscribers of SIM-based services, both new and existing, to register their SIM cards with their current telco provider.
The SIM Registration Act aims to protect all users from any SIM, internet or electronic communication-aided crimes such as, but not limited to terrorism, scams, unsolicited, indecent or obscene messages, bank fraud, libel, anonymous online defamation, trolling, hate speech and spread of digital disinformation or fake news.
All subscribers of PLDT SIM-based services must register their SIM cards:
PLDT Home subscribers may register their SIM through the Smart SIM Registration Portal: www.smart.com.ph/simreg/pldt. Prepaid Subscribers will be asked to enter all the required SIM Registration information.
A liveness check or selfie photo will be required for validation.
Providing false or fictitious information, using fictitious identities or fraudulent identification documents to register a SIM, carries with it a penalty of imprisonment, fine, or both, pursuant to RA No. 11934. ** NOTE: After submitting all the requirements, you will need to accept the attestation statement. You may also choose to provide your optional consent to receive marketing and promotions.

As a postpaid subscriber, you are considered registered. Your personal information such as your full name, birthdate, sex, address, and proof of identification, which you have provided upon application to PLDT, will be used for your SIM Registration. In case your PLDT records do not have all the SIM Registration required information, we will reach out to you via SMS to inform you on how you can provide the needed information and/or documents so that you can complete your SIM registration. For PLDT Home WiFi Postpaid customers, you may check the device dashboard to view the sms at https://192.168.1.1 while connected to your Home WiFi
Your Control Number will be released to you via SMS. Rest assured that even if this has not been sent to you, you are still considered registered, and your SIM and service are not in danger of being deactivated.
Yes, you may request to exclude your SIM the SIM Registration database ANYTIME. But please note that if you do this, your SIM and service will be deactivated after the SIM Registration Period on July 25, 2023. Any outstanding balance and pre-termination fee (if applicable) will be in effect for collection if you opt out.
