What is StreamTV?
StreamTV is an Android TV Box and speaker box in one! This device lets you watch your favorite movies and series on streaming apps
such as Youtube , Disney+, Viu , Lionsgate Play, Tapgo BlastTV and HBO GO, or listen to your favorite music or podcasts on Spotify and
Youtube Music. With the help of Google Assistant and Google Home, you can also use the StreamTV box to control your smart
devices.
How much is a StreamTV box?
The StreamTV box is available for only P229 per month, with a lock in period of 24 months charged to your PLDT Home bill. You may also opt to pay a one-time fee of P4,289.
What can I watch with the StreamTV box?
You can watch your favorite movies, series, sports and action from streaming applications such as HBO GO,
Viu , Lionsgate Play, Tapgo BlastTV , Disney+ and Youtube . Note that some of these applications will require a subscription.
What else can I do with the StreamTV box aside from watching movies?
You can use it as a speaker when playing music at home with your family. You can also play games available on the Google Play
app. You can also use your StreamTV box to enable online meetings via Google Meet. The StreamTV box can also control your Google
Home compatible smart devices which you can command hands free using Google Assistant.
Can I watch Cignal on StreamTV?
You cannot watch Cignal on StreamTV as OTT boxes can only enable you to watch online enabled apps such as Youtube and other
Video On Demand apps. You may however enjoy live channels available through Tapgo BlastTV.
Does StreamTV include any subscription to streaming applications with my purchase?
The
StreamTV box doesn’t come with subscriptions to streaming applications. You may purchase this separately. Check out the available video on

What if I want PLDT to set up StreamTV for me?
You may request for onsite installation for an additional fee of ₱ 1,100.
Can you download other streaming platforms aside from the pre
installed apps?
You can download other streaming platforms such as Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, Spotify, etc. except for Netflix.
Do I need a TV to use the
StreamTV box?
Yes. You will need to have your TV ready at home to connect the
StreamTV box via HDMI.
Can I cast using my phone?
YES! You can use the Google cast feature of the applications on your phone such as
Youtube , as long as you are connected to the same Wi-Fi.
How can I use my existing streaming subscriptions?
You can use your existing streaming subscriptions by simply logging
in your user account name and password in the app on the StreamTV box.
Why does the logo on the remote say
TapGo but when I view on the box, it says BlastTV?
BlastTV
is the new brand name of TapGo . The two apps are the same and you can access the same features of Tapgo on the BlastTV app.
Can I use my
StreamTV box to control my Smart devices?
StreamTV
has a Google Assistant feature to utilize voice command in controlling your Smart Home devices.
Can I use the speaker feature and play Spotify even if the TV is off?
Yes, just
connect your phone to the StreamTV box via Bluetooth.
Is there a warranty for the
StreamTV box?
The
StreamTV box comes with a warranty of 24 months from date of purchase.
Is there a service center where I can go for after sales support?
You can go to PLDT Stores available nationwide for
your box concerns . In case we diagnose your box as defective, we will replace it with a new
device.
Is the
StreamTV box wireless?
No,
it is not wireless. You need to plug it to a power outlet.
How can I enjoy the Google Assistant feature? Do I need to download an app?
No need to download an app. Google Assistant is built
in to the device and can be readily used for navigation, searches, control ling your smart
devices, and turning the device on and off.
If I can no longer find the remote of my
StreamTV box, can I use a universal third party remote?
Unfortunately, you cannot use a third
party remote. You may download the Google TV app on your phone so you can control your StreamTV box via
the mobile app.
