My landline has no dial tone/incoming/outgoing, static, or has crosstalk?

Follow this simple checklist to resolve your landline with your Home DSL service:

  1. Status of telephone plunger must be normally up. If plunger is stuck down, you might need to call 171 for replacement or you may purchase in the store
  2. Make sure that there are no loose or damage cables.
  3. Ensure that both ends of the telephone wire is properly connecting the telephone unit and splitter's telephone port.
  4. If you are using a wireless phone, make sure that the phone's battery if fully charged.
  5. Check that the ringer is on & volume turned up.
  6. Check the phone's volume that it is not too low that incoming audio is affected.
  7. Replug the splitter's telephone wire to the connecting block.

My handset does not ring when called.

Follow these simple steps to troubleshoot your cordless phone:

  1. Check if the telephone line cord (RJ11) is connected directly and properly to the Base unit.
  2. Check if the Base unit has power.
  3. Check the Ring Volume Setting. This should not be at the “OFF” position.
  4. Check for Dial Tone.
  5. Check if you have a good connection with the Base unit.

My handset has no dial tone/I can't hear anything on the handset earpiece.

Follow these simple steps to troubleshoot your cordless phone:

  1. Check if the telephone line cord (RJ11) is connected directly and properly to the Base unit.
  2. Check the RJ11 for corrosion.
  3. Check the handset keypad for moisture that may have caused a short circuit.
  4. Check the handset keypad for any button that is stuck in the “PRESSED” position.
  5. If connected via modem-phone splitter, answering machine, fax machine or PABX, disconnect from this and connect the unit directly to the main line.
  6. Check if you have a good connection with the Base unit

Handset Display is ON but information displayed are not clear or “garbled”.

Follow these simple steps to troubleshoot your cordless phone:
