The PLDT Paperless Billing is an online bill presentment service (the “Service”) provided by Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (“PLDT”) to its
subscribers. This Service is open to all residential subscribers (“Subscriber/s”), subject to acceptance of and compliance with the Terms and Conditions
(“Terms”) set forth below. These Terms are in addition to the Terms and Conditions, Service Agreement, and any applicable terms and conditions for other
services or equipment that you receive (collectively “Agreement”). To the extent that there is a conflict between these Terms and your agreements, these
Terms will govern.
Please read these Terms carefully before accessing/ accepting or using the Service. By clicking the “I Accept” button and completing the registration
process, you warrant that you are eligible to access and use the Service and that you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not wish to be bound by these Terms, please refrain from using the Service.
PLDT reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms from time to time without notice. Your continued use of the Service following posting of the changes
to these Terms will be taken as your acceptance of the amended Terms.

Access and Use of the Service

Prior to accessing and using the Service, you will first have to create a user account (“Account”) at PLDT’s Unified Home Website (UHW) found at www.pldthome.com. An account with UHW will allow you to access your bills online.

PLDT does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. It may also have inaccuracies or typographical errors. PLDT reserves the right to make improvements and/or changes to the Service at any time without prior notice.

You understand that, though utmost care will be observed, PLDT cannot and does not guarantee or warrant that files available for downloading through the Service and via the internet will be free of infection or viruses or other code that manifest contaminating or destructive properties. You are responsible for implementing sufficient procedures and checkpoints to satisfy your particular requirement for accuracy of data. You assume total responsibility and risk for your use of the Service and the Internet.

Online Registration and Security
To request to suppress hard copy of your Statement of Account, you must complete the registration process by providing only true, current, complete and accurate information as prompted in the UHW - Online Registration Form. You must provide USER ID and PASSWORD in order for you to access the system.
You agree to maintain and promptly update the Online Registration Form to keep it true, current, complete and accurate.
You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your USER ID and PASSWORD and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your USER ID and PASSWORD. Any transaction effected using your USER ID and PASSWORD shall be conclusively presumed to be authorized by you.
Furthermore, you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account. Should you allow others access to your UHW Account, you will be responsible for all actions that such persons might take with respect to your account.
You agree to notify PLDT immediately of any unauthorized of your account or any other breach of security.
You will properly log out from the service at the end of each session. PLDT shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this condition.

Online Statement of Account

If you have a UHW Account, you may register and use the Service to view, download, and print your monthly Statement of Account as soon as the same becomes available online. PLDT may, at its sole option, continue the regular delivery of the Statement of Account during which time the delivered monthly Statement of Account shall prevail in case of billing discrepancy.

The Statement of Account which you may download and print from the UHW Site or sent to you via email does not contain a payment stub and therefore may not be used to make over-the-counter payments or payments via Quick Pay Machines located in PLDT Sales and Service Centers. You will need to secure a Quick Pay Slip from a Customer Service Representative in order to settle Your account.

Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PLDT, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, actions, suits, or proceedings, as well as any and all losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or accruing from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

Termination
PLDT may terminate your access to UHW and the Service, terminate the SMS and/or email notifications, or resume printing of your bills at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately, for any reason whatsoever.
You may likewise terminate your enrollment and choose to once again receive your printed bill by filing a request with a Customer Service Representative

Amendments
PLDT may modify these Terms at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting of the modified Terms at UHW . You agree to review the Terms and Conditions periodically to be aware of such modifications and your continued access or use of the Service shall constitute your conclusive acceptance of the modified Terms. If you are not agreeable to any modification made in these Terms, it is your obligation to terminate the Service in accordance with paragraph no. 5 of these Terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

While PLDT tries to ensure that the information and content provided via the Service are accurate at the time they were published on UHW, it does not warrant that this is the case. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the material on UHW and made available via the Service is provided “as is” and without warranties, conditions, or other terms of any kind.

While PLDT will make reasonable endeavors to ensure that the Service is available and stable at all times, it does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or secure access to the Service. While every reasonable effort has been made to ensure accessibility, PLDT does not guarantee that the use of the Service will be compatible with all hardware and software of its users. PLDT reserves the right to suspend or withdraw access, without notice, to either UHW or the Service, for any reason.

Your use of the Service is at your own discretion and risk and you are solely responsible for any damage to your computer system, mobile device, or loss of data that results from such use.

Nothing on UHW or the Service constitutes any part of a contract unless otherwise expressly stated.

Limitation of Liability

PLDT shall not be liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages that may be incurred by you through your use of the Service, including loss of data, whether or not PLDT or its representatives have been advised or should have been advised of the possibility of any such losses.

You further waive all claims against PLDT, its officers, directors, and employees that may arise from or in connection with the access or use of the Service.

Copyright, trademarks, and other intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the copyright and other intellectual property in all text, images, and other materials on the UHW and appearing on the Service are owned by PLDT. You may not use these trademarks without PLDT’s prior written consent, or that of the relevant owner.

General Legal Terms

These Terms constitute the entire legal agreement between you and PLDT and govern your use of the Service. You confirm that, in agreeing to these Terms, you have not relied upon any representations or statements not expressly incorporated herein.

You agree that if PLDT does not exercise or enforce any legal right of remedy which is contained in these Terms, or which PLDT has the benefit of under any applicable law, this will not be taken to be a formal waiver of PLDT’s rights and that those rights or remedies will still be available to PLDT.

If any court of law, having the jurisdiction to decide on this matter, rules that any provision of these Terms is invalid, then that provision will be removed from these Terms without affecting the remaining provisions. The remaining provisions of these Terms will continue to be valid and enforceable.

The rights granted in these Terms may not be transferred by you without PLDT’s prior written approval. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you shall be responsible for the use of the Service by any other person using your Account through your fault or negligence.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines and you and PLDT hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Makati City, to the exclusion of all other venues.
The foregoing constitutes the Terms and Conditions of the ESOA –Suppression of Physical Bill Service which you have fully read and understood.
