Its most recent installment, God of War(2018), follows an older and more mature Kratos getting entangled with the Norse gods as he and his boy try to fulfill the last wishes of his late wife. The game’s main campaign follows the story of Arkantos, an Atlantean war hero who gets swept into having to save the world from the devious plot of Gargarensis to kill Zeus by freeing the Titan, Kronos.
