The mention of Palworld has probably blessed your feeds by now—be it Facebook, Twitter, Instagram Reels, or from that one overly enthusiastic co-worker who just won't stop talking about it (I might be guilty of that). Nonetheless, Palworld is indeed a hot topic as of late, and I personally was able to jump into this train as soon as it launched. This is why I am giving you my thoughts about it, which may also persuade you to try it.

Currently, there is a lot of heat between the loyal fans of Pokemon and the community enjoying the realm of Palworld.
Just recently, they have surpassed a whopping 19 million total players for Xbox and PC platforms, with the game
reaching 2 million concurrent players on Steam with at least an average of 1.1 million daily users. But
let’s leave the drama by the door and talk about first impressions.
Downloading and booting the game had no problems at all. Oddly enough, my friend group got a dedicated server
immediately to play the game; it was laggy but playable. But as far as first impressions go, I was instantly hooked.
The creatures in these games were abundant and charismatically unique, being able to run and chase you around if you
ever decided to throw a quick punch at them. I love that survival elements were incorporated into the game, elements
as simple as building a fire for warmth during a cold night.

If there is one thing you should know about me, I like building things. I enjoy organizing and improving the base
while my friends go exploring around. Palworld could cater to my love for creation, but without including the
mundane tasks of gathering stone and wood, I got my fluffy Pals to handle that for me. We could focus on the
exploration as soon as we got settled in a base, and the Pals started roaming around doing their parts like cooking
food, planting, mining, etc.
Fight, catch, and repeat—simple. The story is practically non-existent in Palworld. There is
one, but a player can simply gloss over it. The beauty of the game lies within its world and gameplay. You initially
start with the basic stuff that allows you to catch basic Pals, but as soon as you get the rhythm, you will catch
exotic ones in no time.

One of its cool features is the availability of guns. Yep, despite the cute facade of some Pals, you will be able to
utilize their gunpowder capabilities as soon as you unlock items appropriate to the Pal of your choosing. Need ammo
for a rocket launcher? Just use the cute Pengullet creatures waddling around. Need to unload massive damage? The
Mossanda can aid you with its dual grenade launchers! The main point is that the creatures are categorized as
perfect for your base and amazing on the battlefield.

Another plus that I want to point out is the access to different mounts. I hate to compare because I deeply love
Pokemon, but Palworld brought my fantasy of using the HM fly in the game. Instead of a quick transition from one
place to another, you get to call out your bird creature to take you to the skies, and by golly, my breath was
literally taken away; I perhaps even shed a tear.

Long story short, there is a lot to unravel in the Palworld. Remember that it is still riddled with
bugs, hence its early access title. With a little more time and love, this game can bloom into something phenomenal.
