phenomenal in his portrayal of Blackbeard, and the ensemble cast had amazing chemistry together. Unfortunately, it

After the great success of Danny McBride’s earlier hit series for HBO, Eastbound & Down, and
creating one of the more iconic modern characters in television with Kenny Powers, many had high hopes for his next

character actor Walton Goggins, it had all the ingredients for long-term success. However, with McBride only having
planned it to have a finite story that lasted only two seasons, it’s one of the rare self-cancellations that
