And while we’re on the subject of productivity, isn’t it a pain when your internet connection suddenly lags or conks out in the middle of an important meeting or online class session? Upgrading to a PLDT Home Fiber Plus plan will make your WFH or virtual learning experience hassle-free, thanks to fast speeds and seamless connectivity, anywhere at home!
Check out the new iOS 16 productivity features below:
Stay focused with enhanced Focus features
From Apple Official Website
The Focus feature on iOS 16 just got better thanks to an easier way to set it up, coupled with the ability to link it to a specific lock screen. So all you need to do is swipe to your customized lock screen to activate Focus mode! What’s more, Focus filters allow you to access only the apps you need to use (such as Calendar, Mail, Messages, Reminders, and Safari), letting you resist the temptation to check your other apps and stay on top of your tasks.
Make the most of your email with Mail
iOS 16 gives its email functionality a boost with email scheduling, canceling the delivery of a message, and even automatic suggestions to reply to a message you haven’t gotten around to yet. You’ll also be reminded whenever you forget to send an attachment, minimizing the chances of this happening:
Collaborate easier with Messages
Messages make it much easier to collaborate with colleagues within the Apple ecosystem. Thanks to the Shareplay feature, you can now watch videos together, along with shared playback controls. If you’re sharing files for collaboration, everyone in a thread will be automatically added. Any changes made to the shared file will appear as activity updates on top of the message thread.
Interact with media better with Live Text Enhancements
Tapping and holding on to the subject of a photo is now possible, thanks to iOS 16. This nifty new feature instantly removes the image's background, leaving you with the cut-out image of the subject that you can copy-paste to other apps. This feature works on the iPhone with A12 Bionic Chip and up and can be easily executed on the Photos app.
Live Text, on the other hand, allows you to copy-paste text from photos and videos and even search through your Photo Library for text that may be used in a photo. This makes it infinitely easier for those who do research for work or students in online learning environments who need to copy-paste certain items onto their notes.
Brainstorm more seamlessly with Freeform
At its very core, Freeform is a virtual whiteboard. It’s a nifty new iOS 16 productivity feature that makes collaboration with your teammates or study group much easier.
The Freeform canvas allows you to brainstorm and sketch ideas, diagram new projects, and bring assets together in real time, with full support for Apple Pencil. The new feature also allows you to embed the most common file types all in one space. Simply start a FaceTime call with others and watch your ideas come to life.
From Apple Official Website
According to Apple, Freeform will be available on the iPad iOS 16 update later this year. It will also be on most Apple devices that support the new OS.
