Manila’s tennis aficionados were treated to the biggest and most spectacular tennis event to date as the International Premier Tennis League (IPTL) commenced at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on November 28-30, 2014. The world-class inaugural Manila leg was presented by PLDT HOME Fibr, HOME’s most powerful broadband.

The arena was buzzing with exhilaration on all three days as rising tennis stars and established icons kicked off the league with an overall smashing performance. The IPTL was embraced by the Filipino fans and positioned the nation as a new player in hosting international tennis events.

But the biggest success was the throngs of fans who came in droves to witness tennis history

The IPTL now heads to Singapore before proceeding to Mumbai and culminating in Dubai before the year ends. But the lasting impact of the IPTL on a newfound Filipino fanbase will leave a lasting imprint on the consciousness of the nation for many years to come.
