The poster girl isn’t always the best ship! Yes, it is a dynamic relationship between Emilia and protagonist Subaru, however, the community choice heavily sided with Rem. Out of the twins, the audience is introduced too early, the blue-haired maid was the go-to choice thanks to her sparkling attitude and unwavering love for our boy Subaru. This anime is brutal and mind-boggling, to say the least, and the bond that they share through all the deathly loops makes the community cheer this route all the more!

Edward Elric x Winry Rockbell

Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. This line cannot be more true to the audience because we receive much pain, thrill, and many other emotions before reaching a satisfying ending. Edward and Winry are childhood friends and were tethered together through the beautiful yet murky art of alchemy and automail. If you ever need a good cry, make sure to replay the last episodes because, damn, it got me tearing up just thinking about it.
Kaguya-sama: Love Is War

Sometimes the main ship isn’t the best, get it? To elaborate further, the show may be about Shirogane and Kaguya, but the supporting characters, such as the other council members, can pose a strong or arguably a better ship– a somewhat underdog kind of romance supported by the audience. I am talking about the relationship between Ishigami and Iino, both of which hold contrasting personalities. It is fun to see them play off of each other in some episodes, but there are some tidbits where the writers show the care the two hold for one another. This is a ship I must see sailing!
