The ending of a beloved series can be difficult, especially one that has been as riveting as HBO’s Succession. There’s often that feeling of wanting to spend more time with our favorite characters and a sense of emptiness knowing there won’t be any new episodes. Though it may sound a bit extreme, it has been compared to losing a loved one. If that comparison rings true for you, there’s no better way to deal with that sense of loss than to celebrate what has been. Here are the things we’ll miss most from one of our favorite titles in recent memory!

We’re still not done obsessing over it.

Kendall Roy Looking Sad

There’s just something so endearing about Kendall looking miserable over anything–from the lack of his father’s approval, to his apparent feelings for his ex-wife, or making gigantic mistakes over and over again. Kendall Roy Looking Sad was so memorable, a fan decided to create an Instagram account of the same name, documenting the times that he showed us his sad face.

All fun aside, it’s a testament to how seriously Jeremy Strong takes his performance that he can make us feel empathy for the imperfect heir-apparent to a billion-dollar media conglomerate. We’ll miss you, Kendall, and all the moments we pointed at our screens in recognition of your perfectly memeable expressions!

The fiery roasts

Succession is categorized as a drama, but with the amount of scathing remarks and witty retorts the writers have packed onto this show, it’s almost reminiscent of the great comedy series Veep. Almost every character on this show has had their moments roasting their fellow characters, and we’ll miss those witty and cruelly accurate jabs.

Connor’s interest in politics

Connor Roy (Alan Ruck) was never a huge part of the central drama of Succession. If the core of the show was the family drama that revolved around Logan and the three full siblings, Connor was the half-sibling in the fringes of it. Ruck actually wanted his character killed off in Season 2 for not being given enough to do. Thankfully, that all changed with one simple idea—Connor running for President, and us Conheads couldn’t get enough.

Tom and Cousin Greg being the best duo

Greg Hirsch (Nicholas Braun) and Tom Wambsgans (Matthew Macfadyen) may be in the fringes of the family—Greg being a great-nephew to Logan and far removed from the Roy family’s wealth, while Tom is the husband of Shiv (Sarah Snook)—but they’re actually central to the corporate drama. Seemingly pawns to the bigger players of the Roys, their bond over being the lesser players wanting to have bigger roles was fun to watch. Tom and Greg’s toxic but hilarious relationship was a highlight for any episode, and we’ll miss it so much!
