View using PLDT Home WiFi Device Dashboard
1. Get the PLDT Home WiFi network name and password from the sticker at the back or bottom of the device.
2. Connect your gadget to the PLDT Home WiFi Network (SSID).
3. Open a web browser and go to https://192.168.1.1
4. For Google Chrome browser users: "Your connection is not private" page will appear.
Tap Advanced then click Proceed to 192.168.1.1 (unsafe) to be directed to PLDT Home WiFi device log-in screen.
For Safari browser users: Click “Show details” then click “visit the website”.
For Mozilla browser users: Click "Advanced" and click "Accept the Risk and Continue"
5. Enter your username and
password.
For first-time users, you will need to enter the username and default password. You can find these on the sticker located at the back or bottom of the Smart Bro or PLDT Home WiFi device.
- Default username and password for PLDT Home WiFi branded devices: pldthome
- Default username and password for Smart Bro Home WiFi-branded devices: smartbro
- For your security, we recommend to change the default password.
6. Go to the SMS inbox.
Tips for New Users
If it is your first time logging in to the PLDT Home WiFi Device Dashboard, you will be directed to a page where you can change your PLDT Home WiFi network name (SSID), WiFi password and login/admin password.
Your password should be at least 8
characters long containing at least 3 of the following types of
characters:
- Number
- Uppercase Letter
- Lowercase Letter
- Special Character
After applying the
changes, your gadgets will automatically be disconnected from the WiFi
connection.
You just need to reconnect then use your new WiFi password.
To access the PLDT Home WiFi Dashboard, just type in https://192.168.1.1 and log
in using your new details.
