[March 12, 2019] PLDT-Smart Omega, the professional esports team of leading telco and digital services provider PLDT and its mobile arm Smart Communications, is one of the five inaugural teams competing in The Nationals, the country's first franchise-based esports league.
Kicking off on March 24, The Nationals features top esports games, DOTA 2 on PC, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang on mobile; and Tekken 7 on PS4. Battling with PLDT-Smart Omega are Bren Epro, Cignal Ultra Warriors, HF Emperors, and Suha-XCTN, with STI joining the fray after the DOTA 2 competition.
