Why did it change from “Statement of Account” to “Billing Invoice”?

The change ensures compliance with Revenue Regulations 7-2024, requiring VAT-registered taxpayers like PLDT to issue a VAT Invoice for every sale or service transaction. This ensures proper documentation and compliance with the updated tax regulations.
